A wilder take on wellness
Disordered eating, body image, and general mental health therapy—rooted in curiosity, not control.
Through connection and compassion, we help you break free from unhelpful patterns and beliefs and build a more trusting and fulfilling relationship with yourself.
You don’t have to look like you’re struggling to be struggling.
At Wilder Wellness, we specialize in therapy for disordered eating, body image concerns, perfectionism, and neurodivergence. We work with high-functioning humans who are carrying more than anyone can see.
Therapists at Wilder Wellness build therapeutic relationships through collaboration, creativity, and warmth. Through our knowledge of a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches, we engage in the therapeutic process in a way that is uniquely tailored to you.
Our areas of focus
-
At Wilder Wellness, we provide specialized care for individuals experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating patterns, and body image disturbances. Using evidence-based, size-inclusive, and trauma-informed approaches, we support clients in reducing harmful behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and fostering a more compassionate relationship with food and body.
-
At Wilder Wellness, we specialize in supporting neurodivergent folks—including those with ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, and beyond. We offer strengths-based, trauma-informed, and sensory-aware therapy that celebrates the way your brain works rather than asking you to mask or fit a mold. Whether you’re navigating burnout, identity exploration, or building self-compassion, we’ll meet you with flexibility, care, and curiosity.
-
At Wilder Wellness, we provide evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders and perfectionism-related concerns. Using approaches such as CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based interventions, we help clients reduce intrusive worry, challenge maladaptive perfectionistic patterns, and develop sustainable coping strategies for greater emotional regulation and well-being.
-
At Wilder Wellness, we support clients navigating major life transitions and relational challenges. Using evidence-based, relational, and trauma-informed approaches, we help individuals process change, improve communication and boundaries, and foster healthier connections with themselves and others.
Receiving support doesn’t need to cause you financial stress.
We strive to make quality therapy as accessible as possible. Our therapists are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, AETNA, Providence, MODA, and Pacific Source Health Plans.
We are also happy to provide superbills for cash pay clients hoping to get insurance reimbursement.
Take the first step
-
Book a Consultation
It starts with a conversation. Your consultation is a low-pressure space to share what’s bringing you in, ask questions, and get a feel for whether we’re the right fit. We’ll also help match you with a therapist who aligns with your needs.
No pressure—just a place to start.
-
Paperwork + Insurance
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll guide you through the next steps. You’ll complete your intake paperwork, we’ll verify your insurance if applicable, and make sure you feel clear on logistics. We keep this part simple and supported.
You don’t have to figure it out on your own.
-
Supportive Sessions
From there, you’ll begin meeting with your therapist for virtual sessions. Together, you’ll explore patterns, build self-trust, and find more sustainable ways of relating to food, your body, and yourself. Therapy here isn’t about fixing you—it’s about having support while you figure things out.
Our Approach
We do things a little differently here. At Wilder Wellness, therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about understanding you.
We use a weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming approach that centers:
curiosity over criticism
flexibility over rigidity
nervous system support over willpower
collaboration over hierarchy
We believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to be real—not when you push yourself harder.
Therapy with us might include:
exploring your relationship with food and your body
unpacking perfectionism and control patterns
building self-trust (instead of more rules)
understanding your nervous system and sensory needs
practicing new ways of relating to yourself—with more compassion
No shame. No “just try harder.” No one-size-fits-all plans.
