Intutive Eating Support Group
Join us starting February 11th at 5 pm PST for 10 weeks of cohort based coaching and access to the Wilder Wellness Intuitive Eating Course.
How much of your day is spent thinking about food and your body?
If you're thinking "twenty-four-seven" don't panic, you are not alone.
Often beliefs and fears about food and body size have been passed down over generations and then made more complicated through messaging and advertising through the media. We have been conditioned to not trust our own bodies and obsess over trying to perfect them.
Diet culture has led us to believe that our bodies are projects to be "fixed" by controlling our food and pushing ourselves to extremes. However, when we attempt to control and push our bodies to these extremes, food actually ends up controlling us.
It is common to end up in a never-ending restrict/binge cycle, that pushes us further from creating trusting relationships with our hunger and fullness cues. We get stuck on believing that the next "lifestyle change" will lead to weight loss, but also provide lifelong happiness, and success. When really manipulating food and our bodies only keeps us stuck in the painful cycle of weight cycling and shame.
If you're ready to break free from this cycle and reconnect with your body, join Wilder Wellness for a 10-week Intuitive Eating Support Group starting this February. In this group, you'll learn how to trust your body's natural signals of hunger and fullness, break free from the guilt and shame tied to food, and make peace with eating.
Intuitive eating is about more than just letting go of diets—it's about cultivating a healthier relationship with food and yourself. You’ll begin to enjoy food again without the constant mental battle, stop the restrict-binge cycle, and reconnect with what it feels like to have a joyful and truly nourishing relationship with food.
This supportive group will guide you through each step of the journey, providing community, accountability, and practical tools to help you regain trust in your body and feel more present in life and at the dinner table.
This group is for you if…
✓ You think about food 24/7
✓ You’ve lost touch with your body’s hunger & fullness cues. “Just listen to your body” is the most frustrating advice ever for you!
✓ You consistently under-eat, overeat, and/or oscillate between the two
✓ You rely on tracking your food and feel anxious if you don’t
✓ You can’t remember the last time you ate when hungry, stopped when satisfied, and moved one with your day
✓ You exercise to control or punish your body
✓ The thought of not following a diet, plan, or a set of food rules makes you anxious
✓ You’re either “on track” or “off track” with food
✓ You don’t feel present during your life, because so much of your brain space is occupied by food and your body
✓ You want to feel a deep connection with yourself and your body
✓ You feel like you’re not truly LIVING due to obsessing about food & your body
The benefits of building an intuitive eating practice impact all areas of your life
Mental Freedom + Clarity
Stop missing out on life's most important moments as you obsess about food and build your life around a set of values you can honor daily.
Instead of spending all of your time thinking about food and your body, you will be challenged to find identity and purpose outside of your appearance.
Deepen the Relationship with your Mind + Body
Build a deeper understanding of your emotions and triggers for restriction and emotional eating. Throughout this course, you will build an emotional toolbox to help you navigate daily stressors and persistent negative emotions associated with your body.
Take Ownership of how you take care of yourself
When we spend our lives following a set of rules, we start to lose ability to respond to our body's signals. Through this course you will begin to rebuild trust with your body so that you can fuel your life in a way that works best for you.

Kristen Ales, MA, LPC
I'm Kristen, a licensed therapist with a passion for playing outside and connecting with friends over hot meals, and taking summit selfies.
My own recovery from an eating disorder, years of chronic dieting, and hating my body began when I started working in the outdoors. The outdoors helped me celebrate my body for all that it could do, instead of spending all of my time hyper-focused on my appearance.
However, my outdoor pursuits made it easy for me to fall into the trap of feeling like I needed to "earn my food" which ultimately became unsustainable and problematic.
The real work came when I began to heal my relationship with food and know that I was deserving of care and nourishment regardless of whether or not I was "sending it" outside that day.
I found intuitive eating after pushing my body to extremes for years. My periods of bingeing and restricting were exhausting, and I found myself exercising injuries because I had no other coping skills to process emotions other than going outside.
While my journey of intuitive eating was healing and liberating, it also felt confronting, lonely and scary at times. The Wilder Wellness Intuitive Eating Course was created to support you and provide support along your journey.
